FARES INFORMATION
Fares charged to the general
public are based on distance of travel with affordable fees
for in town, out-of-town and out-of-county. Fares for
the elderly, students and disabled persons are discounted.
MEDICAID reimburses TAPS for
medical trips made by MEDICAID recipients. Scheduling
for the service must be made by calling TAPS and an
authorization number must be obtained through the regional
MEDICAID office.

Monthly passes for employment and after school transportation in some
areas are available.
TAPS is a demand-response transportation system.
Rides should be scheduled with the dispatcher at least
one day in advance.
