TAPS Public Transit is a private, non-profit corporation created to provide safe, dependable and affordable transportation for persons who depend on public transportation or who wish to avoid the high cost of fuel and/or the increasing stress of driving in extreme traffic.  TAPS serves individuals of all ages and all income groups.

Although TAPS is primarily funded for general public transportation, a major concern is meeting the individual needs of each area resident.  Types of trips that have emerged as most utilized are employment, education, medical appointments and nutrition.  Whether helping people keep their independence or saving people from the arduous task and expense of driving, TAPS stands ready to serve your transportation needs.
